Carrie Underwood was honored a few weeks ago, along with Reba McEntire,Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, The Judds and Loretta Lynn at the tribute special, ACM Presents Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country.
It aired tonight on CBS, so now we got more than an inferior audience video of Carrie’s powerful performance of “How Great Thou Art.”
Also, Gill honored Carrie with his own version of the song that started it all for Carrie, “Jesus Take the Wheel” before joining her onstage to accompany her on guitar.
All the women gathered at the end for a rousing “Coal Miner’s Daughter”, a rousing tribute to the legendary Loretta Lynn.
